Ever since I first registered these domains with @dreamhost in early `04 I have had some form of ugly semi-useless home page.  Early versions had a few links to images or other websites that I was part of.  There was also a basic  sql based new system, not really much to look at.

I eventually trashed that and made an even simpler white on black page with some links, somw google ads and search at one point… Way back machine has copies of this here: Archive.org

I eventually got banned from google ad sense so I removed the search and ads, and just put up a script that randomly displayed a different picture on refresh.

That page was around up until yesterday, when I decided to attempt switching it all over to HTML5 / CSS.  When I was finished, I guess I realized that there really was no point of having a “home” page anymore.  Everything can be communicated much easier via this blog, or Social Media like Twitter and Facebook.

http://djdefy.com and http://djdefi.com redirect straight to this Blog now.  I will likely do some more tweaks in the future to make it more friendly as my new “home” page.
